We’re thrilled to share insights from our recent adventure at the High Point Market in North Carolina—an absolute haven for design lovers like us! This trip was not only inspiring but also an incredible opportunity to connect with some of the industry's brightest minds and innovative brands.

The excitement kicked off with a series of captivating panel discussions. We were particularly excited to hear from renowned industry experts like LuAnn Nigara and Sandra Funk. Their insights into the evolving landscape of interior design were both enlightening and inspiring. LuAnn, a dynamic podcaster and window specialist, shared invaluable insights that guide designers toward success. Her wisdom was as impactful as a perfectly tailored window treatment.  Sandra Funk, the ultimate coach for designers, dished out golden nuggets of wisdom that had everyone scribbling notes like eager students. All of the combined expertise from the various panels we attended left us inspired with new ideas and ready to tackle design challenges.

As we wandered through the displays, we were amazed by the diversity and creativity of the vendors showcasing their latest collections. Each showroom was a testament to the artistry and innovation driving the design world today. From luxurious textiles to cutting-edge furniture designs, the wealth of creativity on display sparked countless ideas for our projects.

This year's market unveiled several exciting trends that are sure to shape our designs moving forward:

1. Game Tables Galore: From Mahjong and puzzle tables to poker and shuffleboard, game tables were a standout. These pieces not only promote entertainment and social interaction but add a fun and sophisticated touch to living spaces.

2. Statement Backs: Chairs with intricate, eye-catching backs were everywhere, proving that every angle of a piece can be a canvas for creativity.

3. Open Frame Canopy Beds: A timeless favorite making a strong comeback, these beds add grandeur and elegance to the bedroom.

4. Color Stories in Green, Orange, and Plum: These rich, earthy tones are making their way into interiors, providing warmth and a sense of balance.

5. Classic Black and White: Always in style, this enduring palette offers timeless sophistication and versatility.

6. Florals, Patterns and Colors were very strongly represented: Whether in upholstery, wallpaper, or accessories, florals, patterns and color bring a fresh and lively vibe to any space.

7. Leather Everywhere: From sofas to accent chairs, leather remains a staple, offering durability and a touch of luxury.

8. Sustainable Furniture: There’s an ongoing push towards eco-friendly materials, with many vendors emphasizing sustainable practices and products.
